This is in behalf of my friend. We were talking about it and stuff..and made me curios.
So..is it really better to have loved and lost or never loved at all? ~o~
Sorry for the un-edited post. I was in a rush.

The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.

Yes it is. For the experience.
To make things simpler I'm going to use sex analogy! OMG!
If you're inexperienced at sex, you'd always be afraid to do it, but if you're experienced already, you'd have no problem.
It's the same with love. If you haven't experienced it, you'd always be afraid of it.

Loving for the experience, that's sad. so wala lang. Parang ganito Well, I love you but I'd expect a break up sooner or later.. wth is that? I'd rather love once and be with that person forever than having loved many just for experience. ayoko ng ganun. para kang nangagamit.

I didn't say you should love JUST for the experience. People don't get into relationships just for one reason. I'm only saying that you should go for the experience so that you will have one more reason to love.
Besides, you shouldn't expect a relationship to last forever when you're at the age of high school. If you do, you're in for a big disappointment.

Well hey, the question is if it is really better to have loved and lost. And I've just remembered that I didn't really say you should love for the experience. I just said you'd get experience in a relationship if you love. If you don't, you'd always be afraid of it.
How about you? You think it's better to never love at all?

uhhh no? You get love everywhere, not only by a relationship. so, why seek love if you know people around you loves and cares for you, I mean time will come for that kind of love.

I believe the thread starter was talking about romantic love. The one with a relationship.

It's a persons choice to love or not. I have my own opinion, you guys have yours.. I'd rather have, as I've said, one true love.. than a lot of failed once.

Would you rather have zero true love than one failed love? 'Cause, you know, that's what the topic's about.
