I'm taking the advice of Remus Lupin. Make the scary thing look funny! XD It's like a boggart...riddikulus! O.o

Yeah...that works too XD
Also, putting in mind that it's just a movie and the characters and events are totally fictional (except if what you watched was 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' or 'American Haunting' or 'The Exorcism of Emily Rose'...those movies were on TRUE cases.)
Try to keep your mind off the fear...think of other things...distracting things...or projects or homeworks you should do XD

I usually get over my fear by embracing it. I used to be afraid of the dark until I spent an entire night in the dark. I used to be afraid of dogs until we moved into this village which is full of dogs. I used to be afraid of that terrifying, shocking prank site which gets you to concentrate into the screen and then suddenly bring out an extremely scary picture with a matching scream, but then what I did was see them all and took a good look at those "monsters".

That works pretty well too. If you try to face your fears, then you'll finally get over them. You'll realize that your fear isn't really worth being scared of. Unless, it's death of course.

Why fear death? Everyone dies. Maybe it's just the fear of leaving your love ones behind.

The dark is not actually the scary part like most people think, it's actually the ones we thought lurking in the dark and the fact that we cant see them.

^Really? that would be soo gross! O.o
I fear gorey scenes, despite the fact that I lust for blood. Ooh, the irony. >_< Maybe the way to get over that is keep on seeing gorey scenes! Eww, just the thought of it makes me wanna puke.

I think you should just think of the positives. I dunno. It helps me sometimes, even if the positives are...funny. xD

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is real. Daryl, you sicko!XD It's not a funny movie!XD Although, when I watch scary movies, I laugh after screaming to get rid of the feeling of fear.XD That, and, I just feel so silly when I scream during scary movies.XD

ZOMG IT DID HAPPEN?
...I shall not leave the house alone anymore. And Yuffie must be protected. For the good of the camera and the world of fluffy-ness.
I just can't seem to laugh after scary movies. And I can't sleep. D: So good for you, AJ.
