Well there are cases that parents lack what their child has....like my friend. Her parents are...fat and she's paper thin! XD and 2 not so pretty parents make a pretty daughter....or the daughter gets the ugly things and they make a....not so pretty daughter.
I dunno.

I think one of the reasons for a thin child and fat parents... are genes. As in... for example... the spouse could have been thin when he/she was a child then became fat when he/she became old.
