A TEENAGE STUDENT WHO KILLS CATS?! OH NO! THOSE POOR KITTIES! THEY WERE CUTE! THIS PERSON IS MORE EVIL THAN HITLER. KILL HIM!

This sums up the the blogger's and the commenters' reaction to this incident. Probably, Martin reacted this way too. And while I don't think that there's nothing wrong with it, I think they're overreacting. I mean, why try to expel him for killing cats? Isn't simple counseling enough? It's not like you don't kill flies because they annoy you. Why aren't you trying to get the fly-haters expelled? And no, don't tell me that cats are on a whole other level than flies. They're both animals. There's just a whole other level of hatred for this guy because he's different.

I think people are overreacting about this. I bet you it's those "neko" lovers. I don't think that it's a big deal. I know a lot of guys who are into killing cats. They even invited me some times (I declined, of course. I did, however, watch).

I don't think the boy should be expelled, but I do believe he needs to see his school councilor. This odd fascination might develop into something worse...he, someday, might want to start killing people once the cat thrill is gone. I also don't think it's the school's responsibility to fix this "problem", but rather PETA or some animal rights activist group.

Killing cats is fun, that I could tell you. But there are certain limits I take, like first making sure the pussy doesn't belong to anyone. The reason why they're reacting like that is because the cat is the mascot of a very well-known organization.

And yes, yada-yada, big org, many members, all cat lovers, versus just one guy who harmed the pussy as a spur-of-the-moment thing, and boom. That's the story.
