Not exactly a rant, but my mother got angry with me today because I'm into dark (gothic) stuff that she doesn't like. Seriously, it's like getting angry with your child for liking rap or something.

Actually, she saw my drawings, and she saw me watching on Youtube: Alien Sex Fiend, Lacrimosa, and Marilyn Manson. Also, she saw my horrifying Friendster profile. So she kinda' burst. Ooh, and you should have seen the look on her face when I told her I didn't believe in God.

Eyeliner? wtf. Ehem. If my mom saw me with eyeliner she'd probably teach me how, then explain to me how she doesn't use much make-up anyway then my face would look completely out of the simpsons horror specials. Yeah. Then she'd laugh at me.
And if I saw my sonw earing eyeliner, I wouldn't think he's some evil-devil-kid, I'd think "Oh crap we're a family of sexually confused people."

I just found out last night that she doesn't really trust me. That sometimes she thinks I'm a lying, conniving bastard "like most men". I'd elaborate, but I'll do it later when I finish talking with her on the phone.
