The Haircut Rule

Schools everywhere have long hair banned on men. It is banned because... it's so fucking ugly it offends them?

That's something I don't understand about the haircut rule. What's the fucking point? It's not like having short hair can somehow manipulate your brain into being a noble man. It doesn't even affect your studies. What, will it cover your eyes when you're reading a book or something? Oh, screw that, how come girls are allowed to have long hair?

Do you want to know what the awful truth is? School authorities are only in it for the money. Parents are attracted to neat and clean little nerds, so school officials are dedicated to making their students look as nerdy as possible. Yes, school authorities of Saint Bridget College and De La Salle Lipa are money-grubbing maniacs, yo! I think they'd ban Mother Theresa if it guaranteed them that parents will be more attracted to their school.

^ LoL, and I thought it was for the religion. I mean, I know Catholic schools are like that. It's neat, yes. It also makes you look presentable to everybody. Long hair to them is equals to occult, satan, punk, emo, whatever. Priests and nuns don't like that. Parents don't either, with what they've been taught in their time. I never thought of the money-making reasons though. Haha.

If long hair on men is bad, why Jesus? Wasn't he always portrayed as a man with long hair? >.>

I think long-haired men look.....artsy. And it's not like they hide knives underneath their long hair or any other evil things. Except maybe drugs. But then that'd be gross. But they wouldn't care if it was gross anyway. ah well. Basta, okay lang dapat and long hair. YES TO LONG HAIR!!!

I experienced the cruelty of this rule just this morning. The guards won't let me in because my hair is "long". Good thing my class today is only NSTP at we waited for our prof outside to escort us in.
