...besides books and proper education. Post things that you think make people smarter. It can be a verb, a noun, or a state of being. Anything.

I think writing stories/drawing comics make people smarter.
*making stories/comics drive people to make extra research about the world around them, depending on the story/comic.
*it helps vocabulary.
*it helps people think about how people interact with each other and basically helping us realize a lot of things.

^ true. Unless you're writing based on your fantasies. =.=
Observing people and things. It makes you think deeper and especially when people argue. You'd think why they said this and that. blah. bleh. and observing makes you re-realize common sense that apparently nowadays isn't so common.
Living makes you smarter. You go through this and that and realize things. Cause I was too stupid then to realize that and blah. It's simply like a rat and a hunk of cheese on top of a mouse trap. First they'll get trapped. Next time they'll learn to avoid it. Later on they'll realize they could use something else to push the cheese out of the trap. bleh

I read books. (English, much prefered)
then literatures.
i do write my own anime stories.
essays and scripts.
you know what? school is not only the place to learn. im not on my studies now... but i learn lots from my everyday experience...meeting different kind of personalities, challenges and trials.... and that makes me kind of smarter in life.

^ Of course. That's obviously obvious. XD But seriously, not all things that make you smart are based on anime. I'm not saying you're addicted or anything. I was just saying. ~O~ Healthy food makes people smarter. And of course having friends. Two heads are better than one! Different opinions from different sides always make you think. And with good friends come with a great life. And being happy is the most important thing in life. (Happiness > Motivation > and some more stuff in between > viola! you're smart!  ) <-- Seriously, it's hard to put down in words. |

I agree so much for that.
you will know smart pips by deliberations and kind of debating.
like what we used to have in the other forum.
but that hobs was never been seen currently. we'd lost our interest.

Rivals make me smarter. Or atleast they make me work harder....I remember my grades became line of 9's because I hate getting beaten at certain things. so there.

yes. competiton makes me smarter. Like when I'm in the top section. I have to get my grades up to compete with my other classmates. hehe
