Every member has a "Karma". Karma symbolizes what the members think about you. If you have a high Karma, you have a good reputation. But if you have a low/negative Karma, then the people hate you.
Exalt increases Karma, and Smite decreases it.
EDIT: Oh, I almost forgot to say, you can only do it once a day.
