I know MCR claims to not be an emo band, but the vast majority of their fans...are...well...hardcore emo. I mean, I bump into at least one emo kid wannabe wearing a "My Chemical Romance" t-shirt at least once a week. MCR, if you're like...so not emo...then why do you guys always write emo songs? EMO. LOL. I can imagine the march already...red and black everywhere...and eyeliner...and flat ironed hair...and boys kissing. Eeh.XD |

Probably, MCR claims not to be an emo band because it might limit them to only make emo songs, which is not a good situation to be stuck in. Goth bands like Sisters of Mercy denied being goth, too.
I don't listen to MCR songs, but if they have legions of emos marching for them, then they probably write emo songs.

I like MCR. XD Emo used to be a music genre *Hello Dashboard Confessional* But now these wanna-be emo's ruined it. If they were "real emo's" they would've been dead long ago. Pathetic. XD (Galit sa emo-posers) And seriously, Depression-suicide? that's just ... pathetic. Unless you're really psychologically disturbed.
I hate it when they label things. They're just a band. And I'm not emo and I like them. Them saying "EWW GO FUCK YOURSELF EMO BOY" Would be me going like "EWW GO MASTURBATE HANNAH BITCHANA YOU'LL NEVER GET A LIFE" And trust me I will do it if I could.
No offense but people seem to be following other people's ideas now. So to the people who hate MCR --- They make thrice the money you're making now. [/pointless rambles]

Hardcore emo fans -- what the hell. Are they hurt because it's true? They should really just ... not care. I mean, it's a band, it's music, it's something you listen to -- not something you live.
