Floating With You

I saw you and no other
When someone showed, it didn't matter
When I spotted your curly black hair
Though I'm often dumb and unaware
I knew you cared

Through every moment of turmoil
And every moment of pain
Through all our misadventures,
One thing remains

Facing anger and jealousy
I know I'll never be blue
As long as I'm floating
With you

And I know that I'm a moron
With a brain made of boron
I know that I'm forgetful
I know I'm dim

I know that it doesn't matter
If I screw up my life
a thousand times or two
Here with you, no matter what we go through
I'd rather go through it

We fought about a really petty thing, actually. But that's not why I was depressed. I was depressed because I feel I've been screwing things up badly for her. She has been crying numerous times lately and it's all because of me.

You know, yesterday, when she got angry with me, I cried right there in front of her. And she was a nice enough girl to try to comfort me even though she was angry. That makes me feel even more guilty. T_T

Yes, it's petty, but I'm in the wrong this time and I should be apologizing (I sort of said I had bad tastes in women). This poem is not just for that fight, however. It's for all the times wherein I've been a pain in the ass for her. Besides, that fight is over and she liked the poem, by the way.

Oh, sure, sometimes she can be such a pain to deal with when she's all ANGUREEHH, but she promised she would change that night when I opened up to her about... well... her being ANGUREEHH. Dun worry, Danilyn's a good kid and this week she just happened to have her monthly "mood swings" if you know what I mean.

Really? It's normal for girls to be like that? Because all these years I thought Danilyn was the only one who was that sensitive.

You should try getting closer to other girls. As friends. o.o You'll be surprised at how emotional and sensitive they are when you offend them really, really bad.

Me too. Ged. See I'm surrounded by girls and they really ARE sensitive. Some girls are so sensitive you can't even joke around them. Then there are those who seem cool and unaffected, well, they get affected too sometimes. I get offended easily at times too. But you know, we're not that overtly sensitive that senses don't matter anymore. Through our extremely sensitive, light-skinned shells lies a sense of rationality. We should or would probably understand things after we've lessened our tears and all. (Or is that just me.) You know, the difference about girls and guys are emotions, I'm not sure but girls seem to dwell more in feelings than guys do (or show).

... But the important thing is that you guys are cool again! YAY ;D

Yes xD Girls will find ways to get back at you if you offend them badly enough. Most of the time, we can't beat you guys up, so we find other ways.

The nicest girls can sometimes have really bad, prickly thorns when provoked. I'm not talking about myself xD just saying that nice girls can explode badly when it happens. But anyway, it's good that you're okay with Danilyn now. C:

Girls always have heart. Boys do too, but they can't show their feelings much in public. That's why JM only cries about his problems to me when we're alone. :3 he's one of the moodier guys I've known when his feelings bubble over.
