When I heard this movie was coming out...I was super excited.

Yeah. I actually missed the theater dates...=_=' However, just a while ago, I watched it on DVD (which my loving boyfriend kindly bought for me *wink*).

The movie...was completely amazing. I loved it! I didn't expect it to be this good! I honestly thought just the story would be good, but the cast really impressed me. They were all completely talented! Now, we are all aware that this movie is a musical, yes? While "Mama Mia" was also a good movie, noticed how not the entire cast was good at singing? Well, in "Across The Universe" everyone sounds amazing! The director didn't just pick out famous people to be in this movie. To be perfectly honest, I wasn't even aware of most of the people in this movie before I watched it, except for Evan Rachel Wood, that is.

I'm very happy with this movie. They didn't butcher any Beatles songs, they just sang them in their own way. And, well...dare I say...their versions are equally great! Plus, gotta give props for the choreographer and animator of the movie. They did their jobs really well!

Great cast. Great score (movie dictionary: score = soundtrack). Great story.

This is totally a MUST SEE MOVIE.

It gets the AJ Stamp of Approval.

Now y'all have to go see it.

The movie is about a boy name Jude who smuggles himself to America to find his father who resides in Princeton University. During the search, he meets a boy named Max. Max takes Jude to meet his family. That is where the lovers meet. Lucy is Max's sister who Jude falls in love with. So, yeah. It's a love story with a psychedelic twist. Plus, the story also involves the protests against the Vietnam war.

It's a very good movie! Please watch it!
