In this thread, I will place dark versions of light kiddie characters and you can see how much I can play around with a concept. I only have one at the moment, which is Megaman. The Original MegamanPlot: Dr. Light and Dr. Wily created 6 robot masters designed to work on tasks too dangerous or tedious for humans. All was going well until Dr. Wily stole the robots, reprogrammed them, and used them to take over the world. Megaman, a robot designed for household chores (who is, in a way, the robot masters' brother since he was created along with them), armed himself and volunteered to go after Wily. This is the original Dora:  Plot: Dora is an explorer who needs the help of little kids to get to the places she's supposed to go. She is a moron. The Darker DoraDora sometimes strikes me as someone who's alone and has no one to talk to. Why else would she talk to backpacks, maps, and monkeys? |

Oh what? I thought Barney and Dora were already dark.
I think the Darker Dora looks better and boots is SOOOO cute there. It doesn't feel dark. Just lonely. And prettier.
But the darker Barney is EPIC. I still think the original one is much ... creepier though.

So we all know her little story. Little Red Riding hood is a stupid little girl who's too stubborn to actually take the safer route, and gets eaten in the end (I don't know what version I've read, but that's how it ends up there XD). SO HER DARK VERSION SHALL BE...

...OUT FOR REVENGE. XD I was too lazy to color it. And at first I wanted to make her look psychotic but...that never happened. XD I guess I stuck to the serious kind of Red, meh? Ah well. XD But I guess I wanted to emphasize the contrast between her being a scared little girl and a person out for revenge. I think there's a manga about her somewhere. She kinda looked like this. Minus the hair and the clothes. XD (the girl was wearing leather.  ) SO ANYWAY YEAH. XD

I will get to work on a dark spongebob as soon as I can.
Although, I have to make it clear that when I say dark, I just mean that it presents negative emotions (anger, depression, hopelessness, etc.) and not necessarily evil.
