I know someone whose dad deleted GTA San Andreas because he saw the child beating the shit out of a pixelized man. Oh, and there was blood.
That is just pure bullshit. Nobody, not even a child, ever says "Hey, this game gave me the idea to steal cars, beat up hookers, and shoot at cops!"

If the anti-violence rule things are followed, we wouldn't have cartoons like "Tom and jerry" or "Grim adventures of Billy and Mandy" or even "Spongebob"....
