Emo's are driven by strong feelings and stuff...probably caused by some sort of rejection or tragedy...i dont really care though. But most emo's are just thinking theye're emo cause they listen to things like MCR and dashboard confessionals or....emo bands. They wear black clothes and skinny jeans *trendy* and all those dark things. The try to commit suicide and tell the world how they cut themselves to show how much they love someone or hate themselves.....

anyway....people laugh at emo's cause...they're not really emo. Just cause they have MCR on their MP3's/4's doesn't mean they are emo's. MCR, Fall out boy and Taking back sunday aren't even EMO. Have you heard their songs? It's about love and all that crap...put in a happy-punk-rock beat. Emo's are not happy people. I would shoot them if they tell me they want to commit suicide and don't after 10 days.

Suicidal people make me sick. I'll kill them if that makes them happy...honestly, emo's keep mumbling about how they hate their life and how they suck and we don't understand their crappy misunderstood life. Maybe we won't understand them...but if killing them would stop their whining...well...XD They just love to be rejected, misunderstoood and stuff.

Real emo's would've been dead by now. or not emo's at all cause they became smart enough to fix their own problem instead of whine and cry over it...and feel their blood and all..

Sorry for ma whining. >< ... btw, Goths, punks, rockers and Emo's are different. So don't call a gothic person emo, cause bad things...will happen.

And I still don't think a broken heart is a good enough reason to commit suicide.

Not all Emo's want to kill themselves. Some are just people trying to be different in an emotional way- I've got lots in my class anyway. They have good hair because well, they cut it that way to hide their eyes. It's not sin to be emo- it's just a matter of being yourself. Some say Goths are worse- I mean, they do look like more aggressive emo's, right? With all those spikes and things on your face.

Another thing about emo's are that they are misunderstood people. But because they distance themselves from happy, perky people, they get more miserable each day, thinking that no one in the world would want to be their friend.

The reason why they wear black is because that...well, to them the world is black. It's a cruel place to be in, with only few people to take refuge in. If you think about it, it's kinda our fault why they act like suicidal teens.

Try to understand them more, look into the world with their eyes. After all, they become emo's not because they want to, but because something tragic had turned them around. They're not bad people, because even preps and nerds and other people like us can act worse.

I know because I'm a bit emo too. ^^

Some do become emo's cause they want to...I feel sorry for the real emo's *not posers* because they're misunderstood...but the rest...screw them...they try to be emo to get others attention since...they think it's cool.

Don't kill me but Emo became a fad. My brother's school was filled with emo-posers. I know people who want to be emo and goth. Which is stupid cause...Emo's don't hate everyone...and goth's are people-hating freaks.

Emo and Goth became a trend. That's why there are millions who try to be emo. People actually wanted to be emo and/or goth. I used to be goth cause I honestly and frankly...hated a lot of people...and hating people ain't emo. Emo is, for the 4242351423512th time emotional! Goth=I hate you, f**k the world thing.

There's really no reason to be emo. If you have problems, why don't you face it? Claiming that "nobody understands" is a crock of shit. You've probably done something wrong and are afraid to admit it.

Emos are... a "cult" of people (usually angsty teenagers) with a fake personality. Try and look up "emo" at Urban Dictionary and you'll see why I laugh at emos.

They consider themselves to be so deep and so in touch with their emotions that they isolate themselves from humanity, and thus, because of that action, nobody really will understand them. They are known to be whiny and look down on everyone else. They dress in all the same colors, they listen to the same horrible bands, and follow the same horrible perception in life.

Some theorize that it is a cycle, which goes something like this:

1. Girls say they like "sensitive guys" (lie)
2. Guy finds out, so he listens to faggy emo music and dresses like a dork so chicks will see that he is sensitive and not afraid to express himself (lie). He dyes his hair black, wraps himself in a stupid looking scarf, develops an eating disorder, and rants about how "nobody understands".
3. Now an emo guy, he meets Emo chick and they start dating, talking about how their well-off suburban lifestyles are terrible and depressing (lie)
4. Emo guy is just too much of a pussy. His penis is too small, he's too depressed to bathe, and has more mood swings than emo chick, and he doesn't even have a menstrual cycle. Emo chick dumps him, saying "It's not you, it's me." (lie) as she drives off with Wayne, the school jock and captain of the football team.
5. Emo guy goes home and cries, proceeds to write a weak song and strum a single string on his acoustic guitar. Another emo chick sees how he is so in touch with his feelings, and the cycle continues.

Suicide is not a solution. Getting in front of a bullet to save the girl you love is understandable, but suicide isn't. If the girl you love tells you to "go kill yourself", then that girl doesn't deserve to be loved.

Not necessarily true. Goths are fun to be around with and they can laugh at themselves every once in a while. They don't hate people - they just don't choose to be like everyone else. They are what they are because it makes them happy. Goths are normal people, just like you. I should know. I'm goth.

I have goth friends and emo friends.. Christian friends and Wiccan friends.. People who dress in black not only because they find it appealing, but because everyone else thinks so too.. They wear tonsa burloloys because it looks cool on them..

People who cut not because everyone's doing it, but for the sake of their emotions.. Please do NOT tell a person not to cut if you haven't done it before.. Why? Just liked I said on the other board. Emos are people who wants to escape real life or world to make their new world where they can be alone. "Face your problems, damnit!" There are more people suffering much more than you do and they don't give up because they face their problems.

Killing or hurting yourself is not the only method to ease the pain. If you hurt yourself well you'll hurt yourself much more. Now you've been hurt emotionally but physically as well idiot.
